Your facilitator: Professor The Hon. George Hampel AM QC

Professor, The Honourable George Hampel AM QC was appointed Professor of Trial Practice and Advocacy of Faculty of Law at Monash University in September 2000. Previously, the Professor was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria for 17 years, and a barrister from 1958.

During a long and distinguished career, the Professor has held numerous positions including Vice President of the Law Council of Australia, Vice Chairman of the Victorian Bar Council, Chairman of the Leo Cussen Institute, and member of the Council of Legal Education and Council of Adult Education.
